Newbies next step?

I just got this American Products Co. razor off the bay for fairly cheap to try and restore and use as honing for practice. After cleaning it up a bit I noticed there is a slight "bump" in the edge about 3/4 of the way towards the toe that makes the blade width slightly wider at that point (about 0.5mm). The edge itself does not appear to be warped in any way and the rest of the cutting edge all appear to be the same width. Is this something that will hone out? Or do I need to do anything else first?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I would leave it alone, it will likely even out with time. It looks like the very tip of the toe has a bit of extra wear.
