Newbie's brush - Synthetic?

Hello everyone! I am about to purchase my first wet shaving set from connaughtshaving.com (a classic Merkur, a blade sample pack, some Taylor soap and... a brush). I wanted to buy a pure badger brush, but the particular store doesn't sell any. Instead, it has some Muehle synthetic brushes that have been praised by some members here in other topics... particularly the hjm series... So I was wondering, is buying a synthetic Muehle as a first brush worth it, for me, the beginner? I would also avoid the extra delivery costs of ordering a badger brush from somewhere else.

the muhle black fibre HJM brush is absolutely amazing. incredibly soft, great performer, amazing ergonomic handle, beautiful look, durable and easy to use. you don't have to soak it for more than a few seconds before use. it easily holds its own against far more expensive brushes that i've owned and it feels, frankly, a LOT better on my face than ANY silvertip brush i've ever had. you really can't go wrong with it. plus it looks really cool and the handle comes in a variety of colors.

you pretty much couldn't be getting better value from a brush, and you won't have trouble using it.

Thank you very much for taking some time to answer. I have read nothing but good comments about it so I will probably dip in.

I bought a Muhle black fibre "Basic" brush a few weeks ago and I love it. My first brush is a Simpson special in pure badger, and I much prefer the Muhle, it seems to build lather more easily and it's softer on the face. It looks great next to my black Muhle shaving mug too!
