Newbie PIF from another newbie

Well ladies and gents, I'm approaching 1 month here on the forums, and I thought it would be only appropriate to do a PIF to give back to the community that I learned so much from. I was PIF this razor from another member here, and have really enjoyed several shaves with it. I learned that a razor doesn't need to be pretty to do the job, and this one does the job very well. I have since then acquired a few other razors and feel that this one should go to someone else who will be able learn on it as I did.

This PIF is a Gillette super speed black tip. I'll also toss in a few sample blades. The TTO works great, and the doors are pretty shiny. The handle has some brassing and the black tip is discolored. I would like this PIF to go to a beginner. Someone who only has maybe 1 or 2 razors, and is just starting out. This razor is by no means pretty, but it delivers an incredibly smooth shave.

I will pick the winner at random on FRI, OCT 5.
To enter, just say,"She aint pretty, but i'll take her home anyways!". A short story of how you got into traditional DE shaving would be great too.
CONUS only please(sorry my int'l friends)
Please have more than 10 posts, but no more than 100.
Also, I would like for this razor to never be sold, but PIF'd to someone else if you ever decide to get rid of it.
~~~~~~~
Again, thank you to everyone in the B&B community who has helped me out thus far. I hope to continue to learn and grow with this wonderful hobby (and now lifestyle).:thumbup:
As to how I got into DE, well, I decided I needed another man card, so started shaving with a straight, but struggled getting the back of my head. The HeadShavers thread recommended a DE, so I picked one up here, and have been having better luck on the dome, but it is a new technique I've yet to master as I've only been at it a couple weeks with the DE.
I started wet shaving about a month after my buddys wedding due to the shave I got that day. I was using a wet/dry electric and got a close shave the day of, but ended up having an entire neck- I mean my ENTIRE neck was bright red and irritated. Thought like many others "there has GOT to be a better way to do this." Ordered a 34C HD and a tweezerman and never looked back. I would love to try every blade in this PIF and the black tip is the icing on the cake.
Thanks!
I started traditional wet shaving a few weeks (maybe month now) ago. I've always been fascinated by it, then one night I opened my medicine cabinet and found my dad's old 1954 super speed, I ordered some blades and bought a VDH Deluxe shaving kit and haven't looked back! I currently only own that '54 superspeed and one brand of blades.
I would also like to enter this on behalf of my nephew he is going to be getting his first Safety Razor in a few days from myself and this would be a great vintage to give him! Thanks for the great PIF!
Last call! I'll pick the winner tomorrow morning. Regularfella, it was your PIF that showed me just how much appearance doesn't matter. My brand new merkur HD wasn't nearly as smooth as this black tip. Thanks again for the chance to try this guy out. I've acquired several more vintage gillette's since, and it only seems right for this one to be passed on :)
