New to B&B

Hi to all,

I am new to B&B and decided to give this a whirl. I have a soap from Comoy's of London. It is called MUG SUDS and the variety is Sunrise. Anybody ever heard of this and now for a true show of ignorance: What is a PIF?

Welcome to B&B. A PIF is this. You will need to refer to those pages if you want to understand all of the language spoken here. Welcome aboard.

Welcome! You should write a review of your soap after you've had a chance to try a few different brands for comparisons sake.

I think Comoy's of London is pretty much about pipes and this may have been a sideline for them at one time. This was sitting around the house for many, many years and after being away from DE razors for about forty years I decided to try it again a couple of weeks ago. This stuff doesn't seem to be available anymore and probably hasn't been for a long time. It is quite unremarkable with respect to both lather and scent. It appears to be glycerin based. I had some old Burt's Bees soap and it too was lacking so I went to the local drugstore and picked up some Van Der Hagen and I couldn't believe the difference. I will probably stick with DE shaving now that I have come upon this soap, thanks to this forum.
