I've been having a little trouble getting enough lather the first weeks of my TSW periode. However, I was experimenting a little, and it turned out with major overflow of lather!!! It's just a matter of one small detail.
Old methode (bowl lathering)
Here I added my mass of shaving cream directly into the bowl. I got rid of most water in my brush (sqeezed it gently). I started the whole "lather building" process. I usually spent around five minutes getting a decent amount of lather. (yes, I did add water).
New mothode
This time I added my shaving cream mass in the centre of my brush. The brush was gently sqeezed, just as in the old way, so I assume the comparison is "legit". I had alsos the same amount of water in my bowl. After just 5-10 swirls with my brush, I got lots and lots of big bubble-ish substances. These turned into obscene amounts of lather I added a little water later on, and felt it between my index-thumb: It felt like I had a layer between the fingers, which was slick, low-friction and smooth.
So, anyone else ever done this? If not, you should try it!
