I just got a strop in that I was so excited to see for sale. I haven't even cleaned it up yet. But the strop is from Bakersfield Barber Supply. The reason I am so excited is my whole family was born and raised in Bakersfield CA. It is where I still live. So this vintage strop is back home. To make things better is is in great shape. It is russian leather.

Thanks. I just thought it was really cool to have a strop that was originally sold in the city I was raised and live. I'm still looking for a razor from Bakersfield Barber Supply.
I know what you mean. I always wanted a San Francisco strop but have lost it right at last second. SF ones in good codition do not come up often and when they do they do not last long.
