This has been a long time in the making. Beyond happy is an understatement.
Without further ado I present the Kanayama 80k!

Really happy with this strop and it’s leather is just so nice and smooth. I ended up switching the suede so that it was hanging on it’s own and put the canvas behind the leather.


Took it for a test drive and I’m ver please. Happy to have this great item in my den.

As the packaging rightfully claims, "Tops in Strops." Also love the advertising on the cellophane wrapper for the linen.

My speculation is that Naomi-san made strops for the Red Imp brand years ago and that's how the wrapper came about. Maybe someone with more Kanayama strop knowledge will chime in on this tangent.

Indeed he did. The one thing he changed was he added his name in the cross, Naomi. Pelican strop vs Red Imp

Awesome. Some really good information there! Might have to find some vintage red imp strops then.
