I just returned from the New York Gift Show held twice a year at the Javitts Center. No new products at the Jagger booth I am sorry to report.
I did see a new line being offered by Casewell Massey called Shaving Essentials. It appears as if they have dropped the old brand name for this new one which I am told at least is a reformulated and better product. Perhaps the lack of sales combined with a steady stream of complaints have made their mark on the decision makers.
The new line is said to be released in October and does not appear on the site as of now. Only in the new book or catalog which I took. The new line will have Almond, sandalwood, and eucalyptus scented base. A face wash, preshave oil, shave cream in jar and tube, shave soap, after shave tube and a try me set will be marketed. I was told it will be a brush product that will foam better than the old formula. Soap as well has been reformulated.
We will have to wait till October to see if this made in the USA product is a new avenue for wet shavers to take.
