new SV :)

curious about this one in scent and performance with the Argan oil

I bought some, both the soap and balm. Shaved one time with it. Typical SV top notch performance. Was very impressed with post-shave feel, absolutely wonderful.

Also loved the smell of the soap. I hope SV makes and EDP of the scent, definitely blind buy worth in my opinion.

The performance of Argania is 4.3+ for me. Still listed as Beta 4.3 but is a step up in lather and especially post shave with these particular ingredients.

Wonderful citrus start that merges into a warm amber autumn fragrance. Year round scent. Some SV jars are too cologne strong for me but Argania steers clear from that direction.

Perfect shave soap all around.

I've got some on the way so this is good to hear, although I don't see the EDP listed on the US website yet.
That being said, the A/S lotions I could almost consider an EDT the way they linger so well for hours without wafting thru the whole room.

I only have one of the SV aftershave but agree they linger quite well and also really work so amazing on the face
and I do need very little compared to the many I have tried so for an aftershave it is my fav by a long shot

I keep thinking if I like the scent I might just go for the EDT/EDP or whatever option just to have it around a touch longer :)

Great soap, lovely scent - as vtmax says, it's like 4.3+ - but note... Morado is also fabulous and even better scent (to me) - i'd even say I prefer Morado to Pre De Provence 63.
The Morado instead of Argan oil, has Morado (purple corn) and milk proteins means it also had just a touch better performance than the rest. Just finished 3 days of SV shaves in a row - Morado then Argania then Desert Vetiver, and the Morado $ Argania are a tiny bit better and both are preferable scents for me.

I'll also add and repeat about Connaught shaving in the UK, as SV prices in the US sites i've seen seems... aggressive ;-)

Order >£60 worth and get free international shipping and you get it VAT (tax) free = about $32 per puck in the tin (refill ones are cheaper)

Only have two SV soaps currently; Morado and Cubebe, and Morado is by far my favorite of the two.
I am looking forward to trying the Argania however. I love the way Argan oil makes my skin feel

I have the 70th and morado both are great but might like the 70th more :)

hope connaught gets the Argania back in stock will order some quite reasonable through them :)

Morado is right there with Argania. Both a joy.

Agree the US pricing for SV is vigorous to say the least. Connaught Shaving is my favorite vendor. Paul is wonderful and is so reasonable with his pricing. Great addition to the community.
