I just received a mint condition E1 Super Speed (thanks sprite!) and gave it a try this morning with a fresh Feather blade on two day's growth. TOBS Coconut was next in line and got the nod. I've got several new soaps to try, but didn't want to change more than one variable, so went with an old standby.
What can I say? A great and comfortable BBS shave (maybe the third or fourth all-over BBS I've ever managed) with zero nicks, weepers, or other unpleasantness. No/minimal blood is par for the course these days, but I wasn't prepared for just how smooth and easy a shave could be had from the SS.
It's a keeper, that's for sure, and will join the regular rotation.
