New Leather Only Single Strop Options Available

Tony Miller

Speaking of horse butts…
I often get requests from customers who normally do not use a cloth component when stropping and prefer having a leather only, single component strop. I have decided to list that as an option on my website for both my Plain Vanila and Artisan grade strops in both horsehide and steerhide.
These will be the same grade and workmanship levels as before but just as a leather strop with choice of hardware but no cloth strop option giving buyers a choice and a bit of a savings if a cloth component is not desired.

As always, my strops are modular and user serviceable, so you can later add a cloth component if you have a change of heart, just as you could add handles or replace a leather or cloth component before.

I will also be listing a real "beginner" grade strop with my usual construction and a decent grade latigo main component at a hopefully very fair price. This will be a limited run and when this supply of Latigo is gone I may not be able to repeat it any time soon.
