NEW Heads.

I recently saw a picture of all the different types of NEW heads lined up side by side. I can't find it, could someone post a link? Thanks in advance.

Is it a frankenrazor with NEW head and Tech handle or did they ever supply them like this?

Definitely tech handle and NEW head. I don't think they goodwilled these?

No. The fat Tech handles were only supplied with Techs. The ball end handles on Old Types and News used to frequently split due to a manufacturing flaw. Many people replace the cracked handle with Tech handles so they could continue using their favorite shaver. These Frankenrazors show up frequently.

It´s not a Frankenrazor. It´s a british NEW Set from the late 30s or early 40s. It comes with a thin handle in a black bakelite case.

Hmmm, sorry to hijack the thread but this has me wondering. Maybe the second razor here - http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=165664 is not a mismatch but a British New. It certainly is made in England, I'll have to have a closer look at the handle (fat or thin) and other details.

You are a wealth of knowledge Archim :thumbup1:
