New guy needing help identifying old safety razors (Pic Heavy!

First off I want to day hello to everyone here. I happened to run across this site while searching for straight razor restoration for my grandfather's razor that can't seem to be found now. While searching through my fathers belongings that had been stored away, I found a couple of safety razors. One I think is a "fat boy", the other was in a plastic case & I'm unsure of what it is.
When my wife saw me carrying them in she reminded me of the one she bought me as a present about 30 years ago.
I took all the razors & soaked them in a baking soda & water mix, scrubbed them with a toothbrush, sprayed them down with simple green & let soak, then another toothbrush scrubbing. Finally, I boiled then in water for about 15-20 minutes.
I guess what I need to know is they're good razors & if they're worth anything (besides sentimental value).
Thanks for looking & for any and all help.

40s style super speed
fatboy (made in 1960 1st quarter)
super adjustable

If you can get the little letter and number from the bottom of the head of the ss and the sa (the fatboy is an F-1), we can give you manufacture dates for the other 2. All 3 are good razors. I have a black handle super adjustable like yours, and it is my favorite of the gillette adjustables.

Is there a date code on the bottom of the first razor? Z-3 or Z-4 would indicate a 1954 TV Special Super Speed. That is what the case indicates at least. The second is a first quarter 1960 Fatboy. The last appears to be a long handle Super Adjustable (Black Beauty). It would also have a date code. I will let those more in tune with values pipe in.

The first one is a 1954 TV Special which seems to be fairly rare. The black one is a second quarter 1969 Super Adjustable. They all have monetary value, but since they are your father's they are actually priceless. Many, many members here would LOVE to have their father's old gear. Shine them up and use them with pride. That is my opinion. You can't buy what you have in hand at any price.

Thanks for the help, y'all.
Now I guess I need to read up on brushes & soaps. :)

Please, puhhleeze tell me you only soaked them in boiling water for 15-20 minutes and not that you actually boiled them for that time as boiling can cause damage.
Please check the shave wiki for how to properly clean those razors for use, after all you've managed to find your father's legacy to you and you wouldn't want to end up damaging them.
Also check the wiki for how to properly shave with a DE as it is a different skill set than carts.

Great find and use in good health.

In the third quarter of 1954 date codes Z-3 and Z-4 1940's style Super Speed ( blue case)special limited edition re-release promoting the Gillette Cavalcade of Sports from July 1954 through December 1954. Gillette was sponsors of TV shows and baseball on TV during this time and to commemorate this, they introduced "TV Special" Super Speed. Gillette would later do this again in 1958 with the Flare-tip (Red Case) "TV Special" Super Speed -50's Style - a flair tip introduced in 1954 (Z date code).

$IMAG0016.jpgThe 40's style was made in the first quarter of 1954, then discontinued in the second quarter, and finally "re-released" in the third and fourth quarters.
