New Favorite DE Razor?

My favorite was the NEW long comb, until I got my Special Goodwill #175. It has reigned supreme for a few months now, until today when a new contender appeared on the scene.

I took a while to clean it up, but first shave today with my #162 Reverse Stud Goodwill, and it is a smooth, irritation free shave.

It is as mild as a Tech, but close as a NEW.
I like it.

We'll see if the enthusiasm continues.

The vintage Gilletes are the best. After these changes seem to be to make it cheaper, not better.

I think the Goodwill razors are amazingly good razors and they're among my favorites. I need to get them back in the rotation. They seem to get short-shrift or little attention from many folks, but I think it's worth having one in your rotation.

But it's not uncommon to find a new razor that you prefer. I've pretty much settled into using a British #66 and the 1950 Aristocrat after a year or so of trying different razors.
