New Fat Boy on the way from the Bay, plus, the benefit of browsing B&B at work

I'll add pics when the new Fat boy in case shows up. I was looking at someone's vintage Gillette on B&B at work and a co-worker remarked "I've got a razor like that at home, I got it when my Uncle died". He is going to bring it in for me next time he goes home to Ohio. He thinks he may have some more razors too! I'll post the results when I see them!

Also received my Georgetown G5 scuttle today and can't wait to try it out tomorrow! My AD is well underway!

Got a fatboy coming from the bay too!!! Cant wait think ill pop in a feather cant decide where to adjust it for that first shave I guess it depends on my mood!! Lol :a34:

I just picked one up yesterday too. My wife wanted to go antiqueing. I wasn't even going to look for razors as I am trying to fight off the RADS .At the first shop we went to, I saw a Gillette Adjustable in a case. At first glance I thought I assumed it was a slim, but looking closer, it was a little chunky looking. It was the first Fat Boy I have seen in the wild! It looked like it was in really good shape and from what I could see of the price tag, it was $9.95. The price tag was partially covered up so I assumed there would be a 5 or a 6 in front of the first 9. I had the clerk open the case up and no, it was $9.95. When my heart restarted I had the clerk wrap it up. I got a Fat Boy for $9.95 and a Merkur open comb in the same case for $8.00. After seeing some of the craziness on ebay, it felt good to see that there are still some deals out there.

I'm in to see if you coworker actually brings in a fat boy. I'm thinking he brings in some kind of safety razor, but not a fat boy. I'll be very surprised.
