New drinking chair

The first piece of furniture for my 'Study' project in our new abode. This will be my drinking chair, specifically to enjoy a single malt - mainly Glenlivet 21, although I have a bottle of Glenlivet 15 on the go right now.

The chair and ottoman are from Restoration Hardware and the quality is outstanding. I read a lot of bad things about them online, but mainly from people complaining that they don't sell the same things as they used to. Being a relative newcomer to these shores (5 years in the USA) I'd never heard of them before a few weeks ago so have no preconceptions. The workmanship in this chair is quite impressive - built like a tank.

I'm searching for a bunch of other things including a desk, desk chair, side table and some lamps.

Anyone ever used a Roorkhee chair as a desk chair? I have a hankering for one of these: http://www.britishcampaignfurniture.com/products?id=11345

Wow, that brings back memories. My dad used to sit in a chair just like that.

Very comfy as I seem to remember. Hope you find some other cool stuff for your drinking corner ;)

Nice chair and ottoman - just need a little side table to hold the drink and a reading lamp.

...and a good book, a Cuban cigar with a snifter of Cognac!!!

Very nice indeed, I've always wanted one of those chairs. A few years back I saw a something similiar at a local Salvation Army store for a song ($150.00). To this day I still regret not buying it

I'll just say I hate you. Nice chair, smell of leather, hopefully, Glenlivet, relaxing, almost makes be want to take up smoking again but no 10 yrs. off of it. I can breathe now.
