I posted a couple of weeks ago with problems getting the lather out of my brush. Having tried all the suggestions I broke down a purchased a Kent BLK 8. My problems are solved. My parker brush is very soft and lacking in backbone. I was amazed how scratchy the Kent seemed on first using it - which shows how soft the Parker is. Loving the Kent. I just ordered a Merkur Mergress - so thank you all so much for helping me lighten the contents of my wallet.
