If your vendor can't help, here are a couple of choices: (1) go to QEDUSA.COM. Their stands are about $18. Shavemac and Saville Row brushes are close to the same shape. The Saville Row stands come in 3 sizes small, medium, and large. A medium will fit a 26mm brush. Contact QED directly for fitting and exchange privileges. (2) vintagebladesllc.com makes acrylic stands for about $7-8 and the vendor expressly states that the large acrylic stand will accommodate a brush up to 26mm. Vintage Blades may have a minimum $ order, however. Nice looking brush by the way.
Shavemac makes a beautiful holder that also holds a DE or straight razor, it is make of acrylic and chrome. I just bought one for my new Simpson Person Jar3, it didn't fit my stand either. The Shavemac holders come in 3 sizes, just measure where you want it held and use there specs, 28mm, 34mm, and 40 mm.
How tight is it? If it's just a little tight, you could do what I did. I took a pair of pliers, put them inside the U, and opened them. This opened the U up just a bit.
A brush holder is up there with a fur sink, an electric dog polisher and a gasoline powered turtleneck sweater. Great stuff, but all I need is a flat surface. The ashtray, and these matches, and the remote control, and the paddle ball... And this lamp, and that's all *I* need.
Yeah, I rock a sweet brush/razor holder, but it's only so my wife would approve of me having my babies out on display.
I dry both ways, in all honesty, and it seems to me that they both work equally well.
