Imperial shaving which is in Medina has you mail out your razor to the other owner of the shop so its not local.
Many people on the boards here will home for price of shipping I'll let them chime in.

What are you needing honed? I have been known to put a decent edge on a razor.

@Raith I have an old Red Point and a Dovo Special that could need a little TLC.

I've seen a lot of similar threads, and almost without fail, the seeker ends up sending their razors to another locale to get them honed.
I know it seems like straight users are abundant and ubiquitous, but in reality, we're fairly rare.

I would take up Jon on his offer. Why do you want to stay local? Shipping is $3-4 dollars each way, $6 if you use the small flat rate box. You would spend more in gas driving the razor to someone and picking it up.

@jred and Doc - I'm retired, so I have the time if I find someone local. Which means if possible I could watch and learn and then buy my own stones if I feel comfortable. I guess the bottom line is, I'd just like a local person; no offense to B&B offer(s) made, it's just a personal preference.
