NEed help identifying this brush

Any ideas if this is a good brush? It's coming from Europe. Starts at around 10 Euros so I think it's boar.

Definitely boar bristle. Looks nice - I like the handle. You won't really know if it's good or not until you use it a few dozen times though...

Yes that's a given but I was just hoping some one might have heard something about this brand of brushes. I tried a google search and nothing came up.

I've seen that handle before but not in that color, only marbled white and tortoise shell. They were hollow plastic. And, yes, I know that Plisson uses the same type of handle on their entry-level brushes. The ones I saw were Muhle and Kingsley boar brushes.

I've also seen a VP pure badger brush in a clear acrylic handle. The knots on both VP brushes look like Muhle/HJM knots and I know that Muhle supplies knots to other manufacturers. That would be my guess, but strictly a guess.

They did have the two colors you mentioned available but that one seemed the sharpest. Have you heard any feedback on VP brushes whether they were good or bad?

I haven't heard anything about VP brushes. If my suspicions are correct, you could try searching for reviews on HJM (Muhle) boar brushes. I think that's who makes them for VP.

Strangely enough, borste is the german word for boar. The VP badger brush I saw had "blaireau" instead which is the french word for badger.

"Reine Borsten" is German and means pure bristles, also boar. Never heard about VP brushes, though.

I've seen lots of those brushes around here, in small shops and cutlery stores. I have no idea if they are good or not. The handles do look nice...
