What's new

Need guidance to find my next brush

Hey guys,

Im quite new to wet shaving and I currently own only one brush, a Mühle Classic Style Silver Tip (size 2/medium)
I find this brush excellent and soft for my face, but the backbone is a bit too soft . You could say it tend to slip away/turn downwards when producing lather.

So I have decided to try to find another brush. I have no experience with other brushes or what to pick so I'm depending on you guys.

List of criteria:

- Soft brush with a good backbone.
- Ivory or "teak" colored
- Medium sized (20-22 mm. knots)
- 12 cm. give or take (overall height)

Thanks in advance
Marius

if you want ivory i would suggest a black badger (lathe turned ) brush from imperial shave, good back bone for badger 25.00
if you want teak looking, the SOC boar in cherry , Awesome brush diggs into soapbowls and soft on the face, 27.00 vintagescent

simpsons chubby. or an omega badger that fits the specs . go for at least a 22-24mm knot for bettter backbone and under 115mm for height or risk loss of backbone.
