I am looking for a non alcohol winter(live near Pittsburgh) AS balm that sooths/heals and is moisturizing while also being a not so strong fairly neutral scent that fades. I looked through some threads and reviews and believe I have narrowed it down to Musgo Real balsam, Institut Karite or Pre de Provence. Shea butter seems to help my dry skin. If you have any other suggestions please post. I am trying to keep this ~ $20.
I have tried more of the over the counter stuff. The L’oreal no alcohol is pretty good - scent is a bit strong at first. Nivea Sensitive is good for the summer but not moisturizing enough for winter.
I am leaning towards Musgo – and have read more towards it being a lighter scent but others have said it is a bit strong. Also – is the beeswax good or noticeable in a bad way?
Thanks in advance!
