Need a More moisturizing shave cream

Hey Friends,
I'm coming to the end of my C.O Bigelow (Proraso) tube and I'm looking for shave cream that doesn't dry as fast. I noticed the C.O Bigelow drys pretty quickly on my face. Could you recommend a shave cream that is more slick and moisturizing than C.O Bigelow. I could also use recommendations for any type of shave cream that is really moisturizing and slick while shaving.

What is the most Moisturizing, none drying, and most slick Shave Cream?

Thanks you guys..

P.S. C.O Bigelow is a great cream, just looking for something better for my skin

I don't know if it's the MOST moisturizing, slick, etc. shaving cream out there, but Kiss My Face shaving creams work excellent for me in providing slickness during the shave, and moisture after the shave. They're incredibly cheap too, sometimes going < $4 per tube if Whole Foods has them on sale.

Menthol, such as that in Proraso/Bigelow, is probably why you're not feeling moisturized. If the lather on your face is actually drying before you shave it off, you need to use more water in your mix.

Some nice, moisturizing creams that I like are Godrej Deluxe, Trumpers Coconut, Speick (especially if you follow it with Speick splash), Edwin Jagger Sea Buckthorn. I hope you find something you like.

+1 on Edwin Jagger Sea Buckthorn

Also check out the creams made by The Real Shaving Company. They are made in England by Creightons, who also make TOBS and Trumpers. It is inexpensive for such a great cream, I have found as low as $2.99 on sale, and it is available in many stores locally.

I've found the Portuguese lanolin creams the most moisturizing of all & also very slick & they give a superb performance.
Musgo real is the most famous, but there are others that are equally good, like Top Secret, Veleiro & O'Melhor.

Here is a list of EXCELLENT creams, that I do consider VERY moisturizing and slick:

Castle Forbes Lime Oil,
Castle Forbes Lavender,
T&H Ultimate Comfort,
Trumpers Coconut Oil,
Trumpers Extract of Limes,
Crema da Barba Santa Maria Novella,
Cella crema sapone extra extra purissima,
Acqua di Parma.

All of these are wonderful creams, and I have them all in my rotation! The lanolin does wonders on your skin. Musgo Real is the most famous, but "O Melhor" is perhaps the best cream that I have the happiness to use.
"O Melhor" means "The Best" in Portuguese, and it's a name that suits it very well.

Cella is most often listed as a soap, but it's so soft it's practically a hard cream, and it leaves my ugly mug feeling like like a dozen delightful masseuses had worked me over with a moisturizing spa treatment, and they were giggling the whole time.

Not bad for ten bucks and change. :tongue_sm

Yeah, it really lives up to its name!

Leon & his evil twin Bruno carries a lot of these creams at vintagescent.com.

I am fortunate enough to be able to buy these creams in local stores, since I am from Portugal.

But Bruno (a.k.a. Leon) is a trusted vendor, and a gentlemen. I already buyed things to him, and the service is top notch. :thumbup1:
