Neat vintage blades found in a razor case

I got these with a razor purchased from an antique shop. I thought the blade case was empty but was pleasantly surprised when I got home.:biggrin1:

I thought a few of these were neat looking I especial thought the hollow ground DE blade and Valet blades were interesting.

Very cool blades! The Valet are interesting looking, Kirbury blades are very art deco in appearance. Thanks for sharing.

I have a valet razor and always thought it was funny that there was a raised VALET lettering right where the blade goes.

Now I see why, the blades must fit right over that.

I never saw the blades before. Thanks for sharing!

I wonder how those Pal hollow ground blades shaved when they were brand new. I'm guessing it was a sales gimmick, since nobody makes them that way now. Great way to capitalize on the reputation of hollow ground straight razors, and use it to sell DE blades. The marketing guys were pretty sharp back then.(pun intended)

Just noticed, those Pal and 6 O'clock blades look like they would fit a Segal razor, no?

Who were the 6 O'clock blades made by? They MUST be better than 7 O'clock blades, because they're an hour earlier, and the early bird catches the worm.
