Neat Little Case For DE Handles and Heads

I bought this today, I think it was intended for jewelry, though I am unsure of it's original purpose, for me it will serve as a case to store extra DE handles and heads. I was actually looking for cigar cases but didn't find any and thought this was a good alternative (perhaps better). Please share any other possible ways to store handles because I fear that I will run out of room and plus it is nice to see your cleverness.

Someone needs to melt some lead into a .50 BMG round and add a threaded insert...

Hey George and Erik-

I was just going to guess that's what it was.....


I'm using a desk drawer, cigar box, etc....


UNTIL they get cleaned up and plated, then, they graduate to a Gerstner Machinist's Oak Tool box.

There's coming a point pretty soon when that won't be big enough......



I thought about making my own Gerstner styled draw chest sized just for razors with egg crate styled cubbies to protect the combs, etc....


Another razor related project.....

I have considered making a brush out of a big enough shell but never did it, it would be cool to have a brush and razor (handle) out of shells, that would be very "manly" indeed.

Those are definitely cool looking, it is nice to see the prices came down a little, they are now on Etsy and even West Coast Shaving has them too! The removable knot is a nice feature, you can have several different types of handles to switch things up...hopefully they make different handles so one can do this with the removable knot
