Nancy Boy like scent?

So, I picked up some Nancy Boy Signature Shaving Cream, which is great. They also included some of their "cooling after-shave gel". I've found that I absolutely love the scent. Anybody know of anything out there that's similar? (Though probably not as strong.) It's a lavender/rosemary/mint smell. I saw the Lacoste Booster, which appears to have some lavender in it, but I'm not familiar with it at all. Perhaps someone might point me to a store where I could sample some?

Any suggestions would be warmly appreciated!

You could see if one of the Sue's can mix something up for you.
Mama bear's and Saint charles shave both make their own colognes, I bet they have all the EO's needed.

oxford and cambridge is lavender and peppermint, but doesn't have the rosemary. I think it smells better than Nancy Boy. it's similar, but more sophisticated.

You could try a sample from chuck at badgerdecants.

I love the Nancy Boy scent but don't really like the the C&S Oxford and Cambridge. But, I've also noticed that I like the more straightforward (less complex) sweeter scents and Nancy Boy fits the bill. I definitely see what kingfisher is talking about though, and respect that. It's weird how such similar scents can hit differently.

The closest I can get to the scent is putting some Aura Cacia "Grey Matter Batter" in some Keihl's shave cream. Smells good after mixing up and works up creamy goodness! But very very DIY.

p.s. there is no real reason to do this as the NB is the same price as the Keihls. But, I needed to do something to the Keihls since I was turned off from it because of it's default smell. I was really surprised that I got it smelling so good!

Actually, Oxford and Cambridge does have rosemary in it, and to me, it smells pretty much the same as Nancy Boy. Pricey though.

Its not their signature scent. It Butch and Fem. Butch is of course for men a supposedly very woodsy. I would love to try a sample but wont fork over $60 an ounce.

I have a small sample of Butch and it is very woodsy...but sort of a summer woodsy, not heavy winter smell. Regardless, it definitely NOT any kind of version of their signature scent.

The palate of The Gentlemen's Quarter may be to your liking.

I find that Nancy Boy and TGQ have a common sensibility of a fairly straightforward combination of herbs and citrus that is very different from the old world kitchen sink of layered sensations. They also have a specific point of view about their scents, not the something for everybody approach of Mama Bear, Honeybee, PC, etc.

In contrast, I believe that if only Valobra could simplify with a simpler palate of EOs, they might rule the world, but the perfume-counter in a stick aroma of their stick soap makes me air it out for a few months before I can approach it.

What about the oil? Isn't it their signature scent?

I'll have to look into the oil. The cream and cooling gel are both the signature scent, but the gel is certainly more pronounced. It's the best aftershave I've tried yet, IMHO. One could almost think the scents between the two are different, but the strength of the gel might just be causing that disillusionment.

I'll take a look into the ones suggested. Thanks, everybody!

I was curious about Butch too. I was able to take the cheap way out. They sell body spray's in Butch and Fem scent that are 1/2 the price of the parfum. Spending $29 was still too steep for me so I bought a travel size version for under $10. Now, I have a feel for the scent and still have a few dollars in my pocket. Not sure if I'll end up buying the parfum but I'm glad I tried the body spray.
