I recently snagged a single edge Hoffitz and Boschen open comb, and after quickly exhausting the single edge razor database as well as scouring various sources the past few days i haven't come up with much. It looks like a copy of a henckels rapide/wotan or a wester bros safety razor. Other than that I also read that hoffritz dropped the “and boschen” post 1932, however, im unsure if that’s an accurate way of dating it. Any information or resources would be tremendous after coming up so empty handed. Thanks a ton in advance.

I find nothing in Waits Compendium, so that is an obscure razor you have there. Sorry, I can't help!

I have no idea but it looks to contain a blade from an English made Rolls razor which is an SE razor with a blade which is stropped within its own case; they were made until 1958.
Hoffritz rebranded German razors such as Merkur. Their well-known slant razor is one such. Maybe it is a re-branded Henkels.
