My wife does not pinch pennies, but she has been known to squeeze a dime until it begs for mercy!
I got one of my best shaves today with a Gillette Tech and a Derby Extra blade.
Then I got one of those light bulb goes off in the head ideas.
While my wife was admiring the shave, I showed her a Fusion and the Tech,
told her that the Fusion cartridge cost about three DOLLARS, and the Derby blade about eleven CENTS.
I get about the same number of shaves from each.
She is more understanding of different AD's now!

I still have 6 unused blades for my Gillette Fusion. I have buried them in the back of a drawer and intend to never use them. I really dislike that razor. It makes me feel like I'm sanding my face, the blades don't last very long, and I usually break out in small pimples the next day. No thanks!

When packages are arriving with more soaps inside and my wife is turning her finger around her forehead, I tell her how cheap my hobby actually is. Only cents per shave ... for the next 100 years to come that is.

Earlier today when I said that I'll start buying stuff to stock up for my four years old son she declared me completely insane.
Hey, I want to be sure he can enjoy the tallow as well when his time has come and before these soaps are extinct.

That's not a bad idea. It seems like every time there is a truly good product out there, it gets changed and the result is something of much poorer quality.
If that doesn't happen, then it will cost a lot more or be discontinued!
