My W&B Sheffield razor

I just got this yesterday but it needs a good honing and the scales need a litle TLC

It's a great looking razor in person though.

That looks pretty good but it does appear to have a slight frown near the heel and the shoulders are close to the edge.

be careful fixing that, you would need a good rolling stoke to fix that frown without getting rid of the metal 1/2 way and at the point after you fix the shoulder area.

it would end up looking like the older bengals, IIRC. pretty cool though like a 5/8s near the point and middle and 4/8s near the heel/shoulder

Yeah I notice that when I was inspecting earlier. You can't see it in the pics but the bevel really needs setting and re honed.

I've got a Henckels that needs a good honing too and I want to get Mark (MyCarver) to do both but haven't heard from him in like 2 weeks.

If I don't hear from him soon I might get Doc226 to do them.

Sorry for the bump but I've got bad news.

I sent it to MyCarver and he said there's a crack all the way up the blade and aren't usable either.

Yeah it looked good in the pics but he did say there was a little crack in the description so that's my fault for not paying any attention.

I did get a $5 refund so that help a little.
