What's new

my tweezerman. lol. its only a year old man!

well it came apart the 2nd day I had it, and have been using it by holding the knot. kind of a nuisance, I tried to glue it in, but its not staying in. is there a specific glue/adhesive I should try? I know I should get rid of it; but I just cant, it still works! im cheap, and I already spent more money on gifts then I ever wanna remember. lol. any ideas?

Go to a big box home improvement store and get this

Get yourself a plastic spoon, mix the epoxy in it, and use a Micky D's coffee stir stick to put it into the handle hole and around the knot.

You have time to work with this epoxy so get everything coated.

If you used basic "glue" before you may need to clean it out/off so that the epoxy can bond with the knot and the handle instead of sticking to a layer of glue that will just pop off again.

You don't want to use gobs of epoxy, just enough to make it stick back together.

ill try that now, I used an all purpose adhesive, said it was good for wet/dry conditions, and heat. but hey, guess it was carp! lol

Let the epoxied knot and handle set for at least 48 hours before you use it to give time for it to set up.

I definitely will; but not by my hands it looks. lol. A very good man on here, just persuaded me to let him do it, lol. hes also honing my old barbers 60+ yr old straight too, so why not. lol
