Considering it is not a Tech but an Old Type I would say you did ok. Nice Score.

Thanks it was not as good as a deal as my 10 dollar double ring but i will live with it. Someone scored a bull dog on ebay today with 3 other razors a old spice mug and two brushes for 60 bucks but the bull dog was bad off... The seller had no idea what he had with that one.... He didnt even know it was a gillette.

I'm not familiar with prices in America but I haven't seen many Old Types that retain their plating as nicely as that one. I'd expect it to go a fair bit higher in Sterling.
