My new Vision

Got my vision in the mail today. The first thing I noticed when I open the box was how long it was. If you've never seen one it's about an inch longer than a futur. I was excited to shave with it so tonight I popped in a new blade and had myself a shave. After playing with the adjustments I found that the shave was very similar to the futur, Which is my favorite razor. I think the extra length did give me more control. I think it convinced me to order the long versions of any razor I buy in the future. The shave was very nice, One of my better ones. This razor has potential to be one of my favorites. The only real problem I have with it is that it's too big to fit in either of my razor stands. If only all problems were that simple.


One question I have though to any of you who own this razor, Is are all of the visions' Adjustments off? The adjustments go before the V and all the way past the N on mine is that normal? If not is there a way to fix it? Thanks.

Penn the adjustments are different on the Vision razors some are perfect but 99% of them are just slapped together unaligned to match the letters. You would think that the V would be mildest and the N would be most agggressive. I asked the same question a while back becasue the fact that the dial is not lined up made me nuts for the day or so I owned one. I am glad you are enjoying the beast and wish you many BBS shaves with it.

The system they use is very odd. I just checked to see which way is fully open and which is fully closed and then played around until I found the spot that worked best for me and made a note of it in case the settings are accidentally moved.

I found this page after being kind of irked by the inconsistency of the whole thing. I haven't personally taken to adjusting the knob, but best of luck if you do.
