Moments after this afternoon's delivery of a 6/8 TI Grelot-Like with Extra Thick Grind (from the Invisible Edge in Britain--fast service to US; the razors are described on the site as Plain Black Tis), I put the thing to use on my several days of wiry whiskers. I am reluctant to say that, with just one use, it may be the best shave I have had in six months or so of straight shaving. It has some real heft to it and, with what I guess is a quarter hollow grind, sliced through my whiskers with no drag and no sound. I suspect that, with more usage and comparison to my other, mostly full hollow razors, it will become my favorite.

as above.......Extra Thick? is that near a 1/4 grind?
You actually have NOT shaved with this razor, nor even have received it, unless you post pics it does not exist in reality.

I have just the photo: 3 TI blades, from left to right, x-thick, 1/4 hollow, 1/2 hollow
I like the grind of that first one!

Seriously, congrats on the new razor. There are a couple of T.I.s I have my eye on, and the one you got is one of them.

Its probably because you don't have enough yet. I now have so many that my girlfriend doesn't notice anymore if I'm playing with a new one or not :-D The tough part is getting them from the mailman without her knowing

Was this TI from "the very last box found at the old factory" by any chance?
To their credit, the Grelots have indeed dried up.
