My New Silvertip

I received my new 24mm Silvertip from Whipped Dog.

I washed it and rinsed it, and the smell was really not very strong.

I used it for the first time today to lather up the Fat, and was very pleased.

Some suggested that I should have asked Larry to set it deeper in the handle to avoid it being floppy.

I didn't know what to expect, but it isn't floppy at all.

Maybe this one was set deeper?

Here is a picture of it along with my Omega 49 boar for comparison.

Man your brushes defy some gravity! Looks like a great brush. I am in the market for a silvertip. just kinda narrowing down the options

I like it so far.

It shed about a dozen hairs the first time I lathered up with it.

Hopefully that trend will be short lived because I sure like it.

Its normal to shed a few it should stop soon.

Yeah, mine shed a bit the first week or so, but its stopped now. Fantastic brush!

I will either keep it or trade it for another boar, just to try something different.

I'd like to pick up a smaller boar, something like maybe a Semogue 620 or1305.
