Last Monday at work, my spidey...er I mean RAD senses tingled. Something told me "go look on eBay... you'll find something you want". So I thought I would share some pics of my purchases here.

I found this as a BIN, with what I figured was a pretty good price. Got this one separate from the other ones posted below. It's a C1 Red Cross Gillette Tech and has the etched Gillette diamond logo on the head. It appears to be new in box, but missing it's pack of blue blades. It looks very nice. The moment I saw this one I felt like it was something somewhat special, for a good price. I bought it immediately. I have yet to decide if I'll shave it or save it...

I honestly think I stole this bunch of gillettes...
Item #1
A very well used and abused Old type ball handle Gillette. It has no serial numbers, and it says Made in USA on the bottom of the head. I feel like this razor has a bit of an identity crisis. The handle is pure crap, missing a ton of plating, got some corrosion breaking through on the neck, typical cracked and loose, but the head is pretty nice, it arrived stuck shut with an old 3 hole blade in it. It's relatively clean with no corrosion from the blade. BTW... this is how it looks after 2 hot water and dish soap soaks/scrubs and 2 baking soda, tin foil, hot water soaks. Not too pretty.
Item #2
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is a 1946-50 Gillette Tech. I don't think this can be more accurately aged, but it has no date code, has the usual REG US PAT OFF, and Made in USA on the head. Oval shaped slots. Well used, but solid. I like the handle on this one, nice and grippy. I may try it on my NEW.
I assume this blade case goes with it. Pretty standard, pretty dirty when I got it, and interestingly, someone sloppily scribed "1936" on the front of the lid? Beats me...
Item #3
I was very happy to add this to my collection. It is a V2 Super Speed, and very good condition. It needed de-gunking and a light polishing on the doors with some flitz. Looks nearly new!
I have yet to try it, but if I like it, this may go into regular use.
Item #4
This is another I was very happy to get. It was a scummy pig when I got it... thankfully I think that helped me get a good deal. But she really cleaned up nice! I would call this one very near mint. It is an O2 Lady Gillette in light blue. I am very surprised with how beautiful this razor is. The intent with this one was to hand it off to the GF so she could try out DE shaving... but as you can see it's still in my possession. I'm having a hard time letting it go! I'll get it to her eventually, I swear! I've tried this one out once. The long handle seemed a little odd for me, and I couldn't help but feel a touch girly, lol. The total price I paid, I feel as if I paid for this razor, and got the other 3 for free.
So that's my haul... I think I did well. I'm happy anyway.
