My latest haul from China Town San Francisco

I know I could have done better with more prep time, but I'm still pretty happy. I've been wanting a tea tray and cast iron kettle for some time now and I couldn't be happier. Now I can reserve my bone china set for my green teas and use this one for my blacks.
I know I'm going to get beat up for going to Red Blossom when in China Town, but what can I say. I got 1/2 lbs. of Organic Golden Monkey. At Vital Tea Leaf I got a bunch of flower blossoms for the wife and a free sample of lichee black.
Also needed some more tea cups and picked up my mom a new tea cup with strainer and some earl grey.

and did I mention the sword : )

I think you're right, the pot kept the tea warm for a very long time and cleaned up pretty easy. Very happy so far.

The pot was $50, trivet $11, cups $8 each. This was a medium size pot, they did have a larger one, but its just me and my wife most of the time. I'm still loving it, actually using it right now as I type this.

I'm just getting into tea and I figured that any acquisition disorder wouldn't be too bad. Maybe worst case I go buy some rare vintage tea or something. Now today I've got a list of like 10 tea pots/sets I'd love to get. There is literally not a wallet safe part of this site lol
