My Latest case of RAD

On Holidays In New Zealand for Xmas / New Year, scoped out the local antique stores. Have been able to help out a couple of members with some razors they have been chasing, and came across this little beauty in my travels!

It's a superspeed Rocket, I havent been able to conclusively date it, as there is no date code on it, and the patent code (430030) covers a number of razors. How common are these razors? havent been able to find a lot of information on it?

Lol, I arrived in NZ with one razor, I'm leaving with 7! Somebody stop me!

I think this one will be going into the rotation!

Looks like an Aristocrat Junior. The solid base plate makes it heavier than the Rocket and an even better shaver IMHO. Nice catch!!

actually, i think your right, it does feel quite heavy compared to my tech!

What would I be best polishing it with? I have silvo and brasso available to me.

From what I have read this razor is rhodium plated.....

great razor - desired heavy built like a tank. very good 'rocket' next to a #58 Aristo - great find!
