I had the fortune to visit Germany last week on a business trip and I took advantage of this and checked out all the shaving supplies I could find. I was able to get a few sticks of Irisch Moos, which I have been dying to try ever since the ill fated group buy here from last year (I missed out on that).
Interestingly, it is not a very high end soap but is found in the local drug stores, or at least some of them. Kind of like Old Spice or Aqua Velva is here. I went into one high end store (KaDeWe) and found only Penhaligon's and Floris, but none of the local brands. I was hoping to find some Gold Dachs, too but to no avail. I did get some cheap Palmolive shave soap, too (tallow rich!). I'm selling the my extra Irisch Moos sticks on the BST right now if you are interested.
