My gorgeous WW brush is in!

So my brush came in today, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Pete was easy to work with and created a wonderful brush that I'm sure to enjoy using for years to come! I went with silver and black to match my lathering bowl and other hardware, and have a 26mm F2 Two Band Silvertip knot set at 50mm. Here it is out of the box:





At lunch, I decided to do a test lather with it. I used William's and got a FANTASTIC lather built up, and tons of it! All it took was about 30 seconds of loading and working in my bowl for about two minutes. I made enough thick lather to completely cover the brush and overflow the bowl! Though still a noob, this is the best lather I've created from soap! (Sorry about the blurry pic.)



After rinsing it out, it bloomed wonderfully!





So I am blown away by the preformance of this brush, and really thank Pete at Wolf Whiskers for this wonderful addition to my collection! If only I'd had time to shave at lunch....

Is that a TGN Finest F2 2band? I ordered a 26mm and a 28mm both in 2 band, when the 26mm arrived it actually looks like a 3 band. The post bloom shot of yours looks quite 3 band-like, are you able to comment on the knot?

Yes, that's the F2 two band. I admit that I'm quite new to brushes, but it does look almost like a three to me. I assumed two band meant dark bottom, light tips. This knot is light bottom, darker middle and light tips.

Haven't ordered a two band from TGN, but it appears to look more like a two band to me. I would expect the darker middle band to be narrower if it were the normal 3-band silvertip. The two-band will have much more backbone than their 3band. BTW, nice brush!

Yeah, I have no complaints about the brush! As I said, I am still new to brushes, so may not know the difference. But I will say that the backbone is great. This brush does sooo well with soaps. It has definitely exceeded my expectations.
