The R41 (2013) is a straight edge razor with training wheels. I like it. Aggressive but controllable. I did the typical three pass shave, WTG, XTG, ATG. the results were 90% BBS so will call it DFS. With some practice I fully expect BBS will just show up on its own. I like this razor better than the Merkur slants. If you look closely at the picture you can see that the top cap is narrower in the center???
