My first honing experience (coticule)

This forums must be the biggest AD creator. I have gone through RAD, still have SBAD, SSAD and SCAD. I have bought a fountain pen, ordered the B&B watch and yesterday my coticule arrived.

I spent an hour or so before I got my razor to shave arm hair and then went on with the unicot method. And I must say that I got quite a decent edge on the thing.

Though only my 3rd shave with a straight I still think that the edge was good, not quite as sharp as the one I had sent of to be honed, but still no pulling and very smooth.

Thanks a lot to all of you for all the information avalible here and a huge thanks to Bart for his awesome site and for developing the unicot method, would never have been able to get results like this if it wasn't for it.

Cheers

Congratulations! It's worth mentioning that one of the unique features of coticules is that they give an edge that doesn't feel sharp but that cuts hair really well. It's probably the most comfortable edge that you can get on a razor.
