So after lots of looking around, I finally pulled the trigger.
I got two DEs from a local antique store. I believe I have a 38-45 fat handle Tech and a 1972 Black Handle Super Adjustable.
I gave $25 for the pair. I feel like I did ok, but I was so excited about finding razors that I would actually buy that I didn't pay very good attention to the condition of the Tech. There are some problems with the plating on the head where the handle has worn it off over the years. There are also some plating problems on the guard.
I'm really excited about the Super Adjustable because, earlier today, I decided that I wanted to get a Super Adjustable from my birth year. This one is not from my birth year, but still awesome that I was able to find one of any year.
I also saw a cool travel razor:
There were no markings on it at all. Any ideas on that one?
How'd I do for my first purchase?
