My first GD66 mod

I was thinking that I wanted to create a kamisori out of GD66.
That sanding machine was bought just for GD modding. It was 80eur at local store.

For handle I was thinking about buying some reindeer horn from a local flea market

Not shaved with it yet. Without handle it feels awkward in hand.

Polished the spine and bought some material for the handle part

That reindeer antler needs some sanding and probably I'll soak it in oil that I used on wood floor.

This project is ready, not honed or shaved yet. The antler hanle is coated with Osmo color hard wax oil colored as light oak.

Thank you for everyone for the compliments. I like the Antlersori so that it will be.

When I was thinning the spine I was looking also how my diamond plate cut the edge and created initial bevel, so honing should be easy. I'll hone it tomorrow and shave with it.

I also made a storage box for it from 'eiffel wooden box' from the bay, which still need some trimming.

First shave done and it was a very comfortable shave. I thought that handle would feel a bit awkward after regular straights but it was fine. I need more gold dollars.
