What's new

My best shave to date.

Prep.: wash with soap and water. Brush: Simpson Colonel. Cream: Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood. Face lathered. Razor: Merkur HD. Blade: Feather. Aftershave: none. Amazing even with only one pass. Not one nick. Merkur HD is simply awesome. Simpson brush bursts into perfect lather. Feather blade is like magic. Used a Feather in a cheap razor and looked like hamburger. In combination with the Merkur HD it is perfect for me. I will always use Feathers. What led me to these products was this website, other peoples reviews, and my personal experience. I am waiting on a delivery of a 1960 F Gillette Super Speed. Can't wait to try it. Thank you Badger and Blade.

Most of the time I am *satisfied* with one pass. I have achieved BBS in three passes. Very nice indeed. It is such a difference to wake up and look forward to a hot shave. I used to skip for three days, use an electric or a bic, wish I hadn't shaved, ad nauseum. I have read some very nice posts on the Edwin Jagger 89. Might be my next razor. Happy closeness to all!

That's a good kit, exactly what I used this morning except for my Tabac stick. Very simplistic and appropriate.
