Picked these up at a local antique shop Wednesday. I didn't see anything I wanted and was about to walk out, but then I spotted a booth I had disregarded earlier and fate was telling me to take a look. I'm glad I did!
I picked up a Gem Micromatic, a K2 Slim Adjustable, and an undated Super Speed TTO.
From a distance I thought I struck the jackpot when I saw the adjustable, but I soon realized that it wasn't a Fatboy. No matter, I'm still happy as heck to have picked up these three. This is my first adjustable, and my first SE.
They were all pretty cruddy and nasty when I found them.
A little toothpaste, warm soapy water, and elbow grease quickly fixed that though. They looked even better after letting them soak in windex with vinegar for a few hours. They're all user-grade razors and have imperfections, scratches, etc but who cares??
So tonight I ran to CVS to pick up some SE blades and tried shaving with my Gem. It was the BEST BBS I think I've ever had! SERAD, here I come!
