What's new

My '47 isn't a '47!

After browsing around on this site and examining more closely I discovered the razor I had always called my '47 Super Speed is NOT a Super Speed but apparently a '41 Ranger Tech:eek:
Has my razor now gone up or down in value?
I had never heard of a Ranger Tech before but since mine has no end caps and "Patent numbers on package" written on the handle just above the tto knob I assume that is what I have.

Hello sandmountainslim,

I can not speak to the valves, but yes what you discribe does sound like a 1941 Ranger Tech. Someone will probably ask you to post a photo or two.

There is a section on B&B called BST (Buy Sell Trade) that may yield some of the info you are looking for.

All things being equal a ranger tech will have the greater value. They have a interesting history as well. Also, of all the razors I have used the Ranger Tech, for me, preforms better than any other.

Isn't this the Ranger Tech case? :confused:

Yes it is. My error. I have that same set in my case. I was thinking about the Aristocrat case that was shown. I have that same case out that I was working with and for some weird reason connected the two.

I think I am getting senile. :ohmy::sad:
