MWF for cheap!

I have been looking around and saw this deal on ebay.

Cheapest I found the stuff with a bowl shipped to my house was from westcoastshaving was around 48. I got it for 33. The puck refills are only 13 shipped.

Your post made me do a little digging because the gent on the Bay was no longer selling. I know it's not wicked cheap but www.grooming-health.com is selling Mitchell's Wool Fat with a mug/cup for 14.50 GBP + 10 GBP international shipping. Turns out to be $39 USD. Not too bad.

I have never used MWF or Kent, so I can't say they are the same stuff for 100% certain, but a seller on ebay sells the Kent (with and W/O wooden bowl) at very reasonable prices:

Good on ya. MWF is actually not all that expensive by itself, but the ceramic bowl adds a LOT to the total. If you don't want the bowl, or are fine with the wood bowl, the Kent is definitely the better route.

Just thought I'd pipe in. If you order one puck and ship it USPS, the total is $15.75. Not less than $15, but close.

Nothing. Someone's calculator must be broken. Alright so there seems to be a little bit of a price war going on this thread. Even if there isn't, there is now. I did some digging.

MWF single replacement pucks:
G-H: $6.31+$13.90 international shipping to US= $20.21USD
WCS: $13.00+2.75 cheapest shipping= $15.75USD
Winner: WCS WSC has the better price for a single puck but since G-H provides flat rate shipping larger quantities might be cheaper from them, but who needs more than 1 really?

MWF with ceramic mug
G-H: $20.33+13.90=$34.23USD
WCS:$35.00+$5.75=$40.75
Ebay Listing:$27.50+$5.75=$34.25
Winner: G-H Even if that ebay listing were still open, which it's not, it was more expensive...by two cents.

Kent's Refill
Only Grooming-Health had it of the three places listed already, but given the international shipping charge I'm sure you could find it in the US for cheaper.

G-H $19.63+$13.90= $33.53
Kent's Brushes on Ebay $9.68+$10.62= $20.30
Winner: Kent's Brushes Much cheaper, but the bowls are different as well so if you REALLY need the darker bowl....

There you have it. Keep in mind all shipping is to or within the US. Obviously it would have been different if we were in the UK, EU, or elsewhere. Also, shipping and costs from the UK stores need to be converted and because the GBP isn't doing all that well things are cheaper right now. In a year this might not be the case. Lastly Grooming-Health.com just lowered their rates so the prices quoted for them are cheaper than I posted earlier in this thread. Let me know if I screwed up anywhere. Cheers!

My bad. Actually I've had a good bit of math along the way, but even basic arithmetic can bite you if you get cocky and make a rough stab from the top of your head. Come to think of it I may have posted while enjoying a strong Old Fashioned, as I am doing at the moment. Not an excuse! Math errors happen.
