MWF diameter

can any of you gents tell me the diameter of a puck of MWF? I'm trying to figure out what size ramekin/bowl i'll need if I buy a refill puck. of course, the closer in size the bowl is to the puck the better, that way I may not have to mill it. bueller?

I'm at work at the moment, and I'm sure someone will chime in with something more accurate than.... Just a bit bigger than an old spice mug. I know this because I tried to jam one into that mug the other day and I had to shave some off the sides.

I have a few pyrex one cup containers, they have a curved bottom so the puck doesn't sit quite all the way down. Also there is a little gap along the sides but once you lather up a few times it gets filled with paste and goes away. They sell that at the Wal-Mart by me for $8 for a four pack.

Yes that puck of MWF is really dry, i left it open to dry a lot longer than I meant to.

In my view the best container for MWF is the MWF ceramic dish. It adds a very nice retro look to your shave den and the presentation is great. There is something about lifting the lid and enjoying the fresh smell wafting out that just starts the shave out well. They can be had for under $35.00 with a round of the soap from some of the fine vendors here. Even less on the BST on occasion.

In any event, no matter how you choose to contain it, I believe that you will enjoy this fine soap very much.

Enjoy your shave,

Doug
