Does anyone know where I could get a mwf ceramic dish with cover?

Probably best just to buy a new one with a fresh puck. There have been loads of unsuccessful attempts to marry up new lids with existing dishes with little success. So I would not attempt to track down individual components. I suggest just dropping the 33-ish bucks.

There was a thread a few days ago about who sells MWF for the lowest price. I did not search for it but I remember Connaught shaving in the UK was one of the ones mentioned and another one in Ireland was supposed to be reasonable. You can do a search and come up with the topic in the soap forum.

Here's a question: Who makes the better bowl....Tabac or MWF?

Tabac is a really heavy ceramic bowl but a plastic lid. MWF seems a lighter, more generic ceramic bowl and lid. I personally prefer the MWF jar as IMO it is a more classy and traditional look and feel.

I've had both and without a doubt MWF! IMO Tabac's writing on the bowl looks boring and cheap.

The Tabac bowl is well made, and deeper than the Mitchell's bowl. I don't like the Tabac soap nearly as much as I like the Mitchell's though.
