Musgo Real, is this the one?

I have tried a number of aftershave splashes, including speick, superior bay rum, any and all walmart/walgreens stuff


This one seems great, not crazy about scent, but it keeps me moisturized for a long time

Less irritation, bumps, could be because I straight shave now


What say everyone? Anything people like better?

Well, Speick is my choice du jour for the time being. It's great stuff. If you're looking for a balm, I can also recommend Trumper's Skinfood. I tend to use them both. I'll use the splash immediately following the shave and then follow with the Skinfood after completing the rest of my morning ritual.

I've not tried MR. Word on the street is it's very effective but it tends to leave a tacky/sticky feeling on the face unless you go real light with it. Have you found this to be the case?

I also have Musgo Real Classic Aftershave, and I love the smooth feeling it gives me. It actually last throughout the day! The scent has grown on me and its one of my favorite aftershaves.

I use the Musgo Real balm in the winter (I'm using now in fact) and it's just magical. I've never found anything better. I got some Speick balm and while it's nice, it's not as good as Musgo. This summer I may have to give the splash a try.

i love my musgo, its a must have in your den. The scent will grow on you. Proraso splash is nice to.

Musgo Real is the bomb; both the splash and the balm. I find they both keep me moisturized and pleasantly fragrant all day. Thumbs way, way up for both!

Nice, smooth, not oily but well moisturized feeling, guessing the glycerin.

I, too, love the Musgo and it's über manly scent. Great skin care.

Haven't tried the splash, but the balm is magical. Definitely don't get any sort of tacky feeling, but I always leave my skin slightly damp why applying. Very soothing, haven't found a better balm yet. The smell is fantastic, though it does fade fairly quickly (a plus for cologne wearers). And the glass bottle and branding is very classy. Even the shape and height are perfect for staggering amongst other den products.

When something is both aesthetically and functionally this good, you just stick with it. Overpriced? Sure. But value is relative. And all this is coming from an Apple guy.

Musgo Real is fabulous.... especially in the cooler months.... but it is not the one. Not for me at least. I don't think I could limit myself to just one. I have an aftershave disorder.

Yeah, its one of my favorites. Apply to wet face or with wet hands and you avoid the sticky skin feeling. Same as TOBS Jermyn st. Sticky unless applied with some moisture to thin it out. But the Musgo scent to me is fantastic and lasts a long time. One of my go to AS's. Skin feels very supple.

hmmm... I have put this on my shelf for awhile and need to take out and try again... I wasn't too fond of the scent initially, but then again I wasn't fond of Alt Innsbruck initially and now its a staple.
